TOKYO, Nov. 14 (Xinhua) -- Tokyo stocks were practically flat Wednesday morning as investors buying back issues oversold in the rout a day earlier were balanced out by selling on global economic concerns.
The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average lost 26.35 points, or 0.12 percent, from Tuesday to 21,784.17.
The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, meanwhile, edged up 0.11 points, or 0.01 percent, at 1,638.56.
Air transportation, electric power and gas and metal product-linked issues led notable gainers, while oil and coal product, mining, and services issues comprised those that declined the most by the morning break.
