ANKARA, Nov. 15 (Xinhua) -- Turkey is unsatisfied about the Saudi prosecutor's explanation over the murder case of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said on Thursday.

Earlier on Thursday, the Saudi Public Prosecution demanded death penalty against five of the suspects in Khashoggi case, stating that 11 of a total of 21 suspects will be referred to the court.

"I want to say personally that the explanation is unsatisfying. The real instigators need to be revealed. We will follow this issue," Cavusoglu said in a televised speech, as quoted by state-run Anadolu Agency.

On Wednesday, Cavusoglu called for an international investigation into the case, reiterating that suspects of the murder should be tried in Turkey.

Khashoggi, a columnist for The Washington Post and a critic of the Saudi government, was murdered and allegedly dismembered after he entered the Saudi consulate in Istanbul on Oct. 2.
