TUNIS, Nov. 19 (Xinhua) -- Tunisian Interior Minister Hichem Fourati said on Monday that the intelligence services recently thwarted a terrorist attack against security forces in the capital Tunis, the national TV 2 reported.
"An individual classified dangerous, who has pledged allegiance to the Islamic State, was intercepted before carrying out attacks against security and military rallies," Fourati said at the People's Representatives Assembly.
Another suspect was arrested for planning a terrorist attack to seize weapons, the minister added.
