Vietnam, India to bolster multifaceted cooperation

HANOI, Nov. 20 (Xinhua) -- Vietnamese President Nguyen Phu Trong and the visiting Indian President Ram Nath Kovind on Tuesday said here that the two countries will maintain bilateral cooperation mechanisms and implement cooperative deals already signed by the two sides.

The two leaders agreed to increase two-way trade to 15 billion U.S. dollars in the near future, and boost cooperation on such fields as energy, culture, tourism, aviation and education.

After their talks, they witnessed the signing of four memorandums of understanding on cooperation between some institutions and ministries.
