TIRANA, Nov. 20 (Xinhua) -- The assets of an Albanian citizen valued at 360,000 euros (about 411,000 U.S. dollars) have been seized by Albanian police on Tuesday, for suspected link to narcotics-related activities.
According to police announcement, the properties belonging to the citizen with the initials J.J are suspected to be obtained as a result of activities in the production and sale of narcotics.
J.J is suspected of committing the criminal offense of money laundering, said the police.
Among the sequestrated assets are two residential apartments, two service shops, two parking spaces, six different garages and one vehicle.
Meanwhile, the Albanian police are continuing to trace, identify and sequestrate assets resulting from the criminal activity.
