NEW DELHI, Nov. 21 (Xinhua) -- The Delhi Police have issued an alert regarding the possibility of two suspected terrorists entering the country's capital city, local media reported Wednesday.

The police also released a photograph of the two terrorists standing by a signboard showing Delhi "360 kilometers away."

Following the alert, security officials had tightened the security of important offices, including the prime minister's office and the Defence Ministry, besides other key government installations.

Fearing the terrorists to be hiding in the Paharganj area of central Delhi, the police issued an advisory for locals to immediately call the police if they spot these two men in Delhi or surrounding areas.

Meanwhile, the police in northern state of Punjab had also issued a high alert for the national capital after receiving information about seven Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) terrorists who are feared to have entered the region via Punjab.
