China's NOVA esports crowned in first-ever Clash Royale Leauge World Finals

TOKYO, Dec. 1 (Xinhua) -- China's NOVA esports team edged Latin America's Vivo Keyd team 3-1 to claim the first-ever Clash Royale League World Finals champion at the Makauhari Messe Hall here on Saturday.

Nova were crowned in the Spring Season in the Chinese Clash Royale League and successfully defended their title in the Fall Season. Ace of the club, Huang Chenghui (ID: Lciop) added to his collection an Asian Games silver in the demonstration event in Jakarta last August.

Nova defeated South Korea's KING-ZONE DragonX 2-1 to book the final clash with Vivo Keyd, where they recovered from 1-0 down to lift the trophy with a 3-1 victory.

The 2018 Clash Royale League World Finals features six top teams across the world including league champions from China, Asia, Europe, North America and Latin America and one team representing hosts Japan.
