LUSAKA, Dec. 5 (Xinhua) -- Zambian President Edgar Lungu on Wednesday sent a message of condolences to United States (US) President Donald Trump following the death of that country's former leader.
Lungu conveyed his heartfelt condolences following the passing away of former U.S. President George H.W. Bush who died on November 30, according to his office.
The Zambian leader said he learnt with a deep sense of sorrow on the death of the former president and prayed that his family will find solace during the trying period.
The late president, he said, will be remembered for his persistent fight for peace, security and stability in the world.
