THE HAGUE, Dec.10 (Xinhua) -- Britain's Prime Minister Theresa May will meet with Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte in The Hague on Tuesday morning, the Netherlands Government Information Service (RVD) announced on Monday.

May and Rutte are scheduled for a working breakfast at the Catshuis, the official residence of the Dutch PM, where they will discuss the latest developments on the Brexit deal.

The announcement of the visit comes after May called off Tuesday's British MP's vote on the Brexit deal. She feared this deal would not get enough support, especially due to the controversial backstop plan for the border between Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, avoiding a hard border.

Rutte is the first of several European leaders she wants to speak on possible adjustments of the deal. European Council President Donald Tusk already stated that the remaining 27 European countries will not renegotiate on the deal.
