TOKYO, Dec. 11 (Xinhua) -- Tokyo stocks lost ground Tuesday morning on investor concern over the future course and details of Britain's departure from the European Union, while Japan-U.S. trade talks on domestic automobiles added to a jittery mood.

The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average dropped 119.20 points, or 0.56 percent, from Monday to 21,100.30.

The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, meanwhile, fell 16.83 points, or 1.06 percent, to 1,572.98.

Oil and coal product, mining, machinery and auto-linked issues comprised those that gained the most by the morning break.
