"#MountainsMatter" theme chosen to celebrate this year's Int'l Mountain Day

The Desalpe is a traditional annual procession when cows make their way down to the plain at the beginning of the Autumn after more than four months of grazing on the Alpine pastures during the Summer. Dec. 11 is the International Mountain Day, which was established by the UN General Assembly in 2003 to encourage sustainable development in mountains.
