Economy minister appointed as Belarus's manager in AIIB

MINSK, Dec. 29 (Xinhua) -- Belarus appointed Economy Minister Dmitry Krutoi as a manager in the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), the government's press service said Saturday.

Belarusian Finance Minister Maksim Yermolovich has been appointed as country's deputy manager in the AIIB, the statement said.

The Finance Ministry has been designated as the official body from the Belarusian side for communication with the AIIB.

The AIIB announced in December 2017 that its board of governors had approved Belarus to join the Bank.
