RABAT, Jan. 7 (Xinhua) -- The British oil and gas company Sound Energy announced on Monday a new gas discovery in Tendrara exploration project in eastern Morocco.
The company said in a statement that it ended drilling the TE-10 well at a total measured depth of 2,218 meters, "with gas showing down" to a depth of 2,070 meters.
The TE-10 well is the second of three planned exploration wells for Sound Energy in Tendrara exploration project.
Morocco has permitted several companies to explore gas both on shore and offshore in the kingdom.
