YANGON, Feb. 11 (Xinhua) -- Search and rescue works have been underway for the missing in a vessel capsizal near a lighthouse in Manaung, Myanmar's Rakhine state, Rakhine State Fire Department said on Monday.

With estimated 25 people on board, the vessel named "Sin Pyaung", on a trip for repair, arrived at the Lapatkyun Lighthouse on Friday, 6.4 km from Zidaw beach. It capsized on Monday at 4:30 a.m. local time as it leaned when berthing, an official of Rakhine State Fire Department told Xinhua.

Two bodies were found with seven others alive and search for the remaining missing people has been underway, the son of a missing person said.

"The capsizal took place within three minutes as it leaned. I have not found my father until now. Search is continuing", the son said.
