Thailand exchange appoints new head in charge of information technology

BANGKOK, Feb. 14 (Xinhua) -- The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) on Thursday announced that Nat Luengnaruemitchai has been appointed as its new executive vice president, head of Information Technology Development Group, Information Technology Division, effective from Feb. 16, 2019.

According to a statement released by SET on Thursday, "Nat has a wealth of industry knowledge and extensive experience in cutting-edge technology such as cloud computing and cyber security. I am confident that he will be instrumental in driving our technology vision forward."

Nat has over 20 years of experience in the field of capital markets and information technology. He has held roles at a number of world-class financial institutions and technology companies both domestic and international, including Amazon, Credit Suisse, Merrill Lynch, Lehman Brothers and Phatra Securities. Most recently he served as the Consulting Member of Technical Staff at Oracle.
