NEW DELHI, Feb. 16 (Xinhua) -- The all-party meeting in India on Saturday passed a resolution strongly condemning the attack in Indian-controlled Kashmir that killed 40 paramilitary troopers.

The meeting held in New Delhi was chaired by Home Minister Rajnath Singh and attended by representatives of almost all the political parties.

"India has displayed both firmness and resilience in dealing with these challenges. The entire nation speaks in one voice to express its determination to fight these challenges. Today, we stand united in solidarity with our security forces in fighting terrorism and in defending the unity and integrity of India," the resolution said.

The all-party meeting was called by the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) led government to discuss Thursday's terror attack on Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) convoy in Indian-controlled Kashmir.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has warned of strong action against those responsible for the attack.
