TRIPOLI, Feb. 28 (Xinhua) -- Libya's eastern-based House of Representatives (parliament) on Thursday extended its condolences to Egypt following a deadly train crash in Cairo.
"The House of Representatives extends its deepest condolences and compassion to the Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi and the brotherly Egyptian people over the painful accident that took place in the central train station in Cairo, which killed and injured dozens," the parliament said in a statement.
At least 20 people were killed and more than 40 others wounded when a fire erupted inside a train station in the city center of Egypt's capital Cairo on Wednesday, local media reported.
