TIRANA, March 6 (Xinhua) -- Twenty-one illegal migrants from the Middle East were detained in Kapshtica, southeast of Albania, in the green border close to Greece, Albanian police announced on Wednesday.
Police declared that among the 21 illegal migrants was even a three-month-old infant.
The detained migrants are Iranian, Kurds, and Syrian.
The migrants were transported to the Border and Migration Directorate in Korca, where they will give their statements and then will be sent to the center of asylum seekers in Albania's capital Tirana.
