
An officer from the Philippine Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) shows confiscated venomous tarantulas in Quezon City, the Philippines, April 3, 2019. Customs officials in the Philippines have seized a total of 757 live venomous tarantulas at Manila's international airport, the Bureau of Customs (BOC) said on Tuesday. The BOC said customs officers seized the hairy spiders from Poland on Monday. The tarantulas, classified as endangered wildlife species, were turned over to the DENR.
