HO CHI MINH CITY, April 8 (Xinhua) -- Guided missile corvette BNS Prottoy of the Bangladesh Navy arrived in here on Monday, beginning its four-day friendship visit to the city.
The visit aims to enhance cooperation, mutual understanding and trust of the Vietnamese and Bangladeshi armies and naval forces in particular, Vietnam News Agency reported on Monday.
During the trip, commanders of the ship, which has 23 officers and 116 sailors on board, are scheduled to pay courtesy visits to the city’s leaders and Vietnam’s High Command of Navy Region 2.
