4 policemen, 3 citizens killed in suicide attack in Egypt's North Sinai: ministry

CAIRO, April 9 (Xinhua) -- Four policemen and three citizens were killed and 26 others were wounded on Tuesday in a suicide bomb attack in Sheikh Zuweid city of Egypt's North Sinai province, Egyptian Interior Ministry said in a statement.

"The attack was carried out by a suicide bomber who is about 15 years old," the ministry said, adding that a six-year-old child was among the seven killed.

The bombing took place while a police patrol was combing a marketplace area in Sheikh Zuweid.
