Indonesia to co-host 2020 U-16 Asian Cup soccer qualifiers

JAKARTA, April 26 (Xinhua) -- Indonesia will co-host the qualifiers of the 2020 U-16 Asia Cup football championship along with Myanmar, Laos, Singapore and Vietnam, according to the country's soccer governing body.

"This would be an honor for us, proving the reputation of PSSI that makes it obtaining international trust, particularly Asia, to hold football tournament among Asian countries," Indonesia Football Association (PSSI) secretary general Ratu Tisha Destria was quoted by PSSI website on Friday.

Thus, those co-hosts will be put in different groups during the qualification round, according to the Asian Football Confederation.
