KHARTOUM, April 27 (Xinhua) -- Sudan's Transitional Military Council (TMC) on Saturday said that South Sudan's oil exports flow normally through Sudanese territories.

The reports which have been circulated by some media about the decrease of the South Sudan's oil exports are untrue, Shams-Eddin Kabashi, the TMC spokesman, said in a statement.

"South Sudan's oil exports flow in a normal manner," he added.

On Friday, South Sudan said that its oil production dropped from 170,000 barrels per day to 135,000 barrels because of the sit-ins and protests in Khartoum.

South Sudan Information Minister Michael Makuei Lueth was reportedly said that the ongoing protests in Khartoum have affected his country's oil production.

He explained that Sudanese oil workers at the oil fields returned to Khartoum to join the Sudanese protesters at the sit-in site in front of the army's general headquarters.
