Namibian Ambunda to defend IBO title against undefeated Fulton

WINDHOEK, May 10 (Xinhua) -- Namibia's International Boxing Organizations (IBO) World Super Bantamweight titleholder, Paulus 'The Rock' Ambunda will defend his title on May 11, in Virginia, USA.

Ambunda will trade leather with undefeated rising featherweight, Stephen Fulton, in a fight slated for 12 rounds.

Namibian fans from across the country passed on messages of encouragement to the Rock on social media.

"Good luck and all the best to Paulus 'Jesus' Ambunda. All the best to the guy, wish you good results man," one of the messages read.

"It was the one thing I wanted most. I have been praying to get a fight in America, just to showcase my talent," Ambunda said.

Ambunda has 29 fights under his belt (27 wins, 2 losses), while his opponent Fulton has 15 fights with no defeat.
