Several injured in explosion in S. Sweden: media

June 7 (Xinhua) -- A heavy explosion has occurred in southern Sweden on Friday morning and injured several, according to Swedish Television.

The explosion occurred at a multi-family house at the intersection of the Hamngatan and Adalagatan districts in central Linkoping, a city in southern Sweden, about 200 km south of Stockholm, and several people were injured, local police source said without revealing further details.

The site and nearby area have been blocked off and the National Bomb Guard is called to the spot.
