SAN FRANCISCO, June 7 (Xinhua) -- Microsoft on Thursday announced the winners and finalists of the 2019 Microsoft Partner of the Year Award to honor their innovative solutions for global customers.
Microsoft said the annual awards honor its partners from around the world for their excellence in innovation and implementation of customer solutions based on Microsoft technology.
The award finalists and winners for each of the 41 categories were selected from nearly 3,000 nominations collected from 115 different countries and regions across the globe, said Gavriella Schuster, corporate vice president of One Commercial Partner at Microsoft.
"Virtually every entry we received showcased something remarkable -- some piece of ingenuity that differentiated a solution, or an incredible display of commitment and service to make the impossible possible," Schuster said.
She hailed those companies as "industry leaders helping businesses around the world connect and achieve more."
All the winners and finalists, including several firms from the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong and Taiwan, will be recognized at the Microsoft Inspire 2019 event scheduled for July 14-18, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Microsoft Inspire 2019 is an annual conference held by Microsoft for its partner community, where the partners get acquainted with Microsoft's roadmap for the upcoming year, build connections, share their best practices, experience the latest product innovations, and learn new skills and techniques.
