ISLAMABAD, June 7 (Xinhua) -- At least three people were killed and three others injured in an explosion in a vehicle in Pakistan's southwestern Balochistan province on Friday, local media reported.
According to reports, the vehicle coming from the country's southern port city of Karachi suddenly caught fire after a huge blast near the Zero Point area of Ziarat, a district in Balochistan province.
Following the incident, police personnel, fire brigade and rescue teams immediately reached the site of the incident and shifted the injured people including two women to a nearby hospital, where condition of all the injured was said to be critical.
The ill-fated vehicle was carrying members of the same family who came to Ziarat to spend Eid al-Fitr holidays, local Urdu TV channel Express reported.
