Two Pakistani soldiers killed in North Waziristan: Security officials

ISLAMABAD, June 8 (Xinhua) -- A roadside bomb attack in Pakistan's North Waziristan tribal district on Saturday killed two soldiers and injured three others, security officials said.

The officials said that terrorists targeted military vehicle through an improvised explosive device in Degan area of North Waziristan.

This is the second attack on security forces in the same area in two days.

The army said on Friday that three officers and one soldier were killed while four soldiers were injured in a roadside bomb attack.

Pakistani Taliban claimed responsibility for the Friday's attack.

The military said Friday that terrorists had increased attacks in North Waziristan and during last month, 10 security forces personnel havd been killed while 35 got injured including the Friday's casualties.
