DAR ES SALAAM, June 11 (Xinhua) -- Tanzanian Prime Minister Kassim Majaliwa on Tuesday invited Rwandan investors to invest in the nation's various sectors, including tourism and mining, and assured them of good cooperation.

A statement issued by the Prime Minister's Office in the capital Dodoma said Majaliwa made the invitation during talks with the visiting Speaker of Rwandan Parliament Donatille Mukabalisa.

Majaliwa said the government was ready to receive Rwandan investors in various sectors, including tourism, mining, manufacturing industries and agriculture.

Majaliwa assured the Rwandan Speaker of Tanzania's continued good relations with the neighboring country.

Majaliwa said the Tanzanian government has embarked on the construction of the standard gauge railway that will hugely help Rwanda to transport its freight.

Job Ndugai, Speaker of Tanzanian National Assembly, said the people of the two countries should work closely for their benefits.
