In pics: Sino-Tajik joint venture Hisor cherry orchard in Tajikistan

Photo taken on June 12, 2019 show cherries at Hisor cherry orchard in Hisor, west of Dushanbe, Tajikistan. The cherry orchard is part of a Sino-Tajik joint venture in the Hisor basin. With about 40,000 cherry trees in an area of nearly 2,400 mu (160 hectares), Hisor cherry orchard is the second largest cherry orchard in Dushanbe. The cherry orchard has brought China's advanced farming techniques to Tajikistan and provided training for local villagers. (Xinhua/Sadat)
