6.1-magnitude quake hits 97 km ENE of Tonga's Ohonua -- USGS

NEW YORK, June 15 (Xinhua) -- A 6.1-magnitude earthquake jolted 97 kilometers ENE of Ohonua, Tonga at 2156 GMT on Saturday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 kilometers, was initially determined to be at 21.1421 degrees south latitude and 174.0319 degrees west longitude.
