"The selected Tunisian companies will exhibit their products over an area of 100 square meters," said Dhouha Chtourou, vice president of the Tunisian-Chinese Business Council (CATC), operating under the Tunisian Union of Industry, Trade and Handicrafts (UTICA).

"The Tunisian delegation, which will attend the China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo, includes representatives from the Center for Export Promotion of Tunisia (CEPEX), Foreign Investment Promotion Agency (FIPA-Tunisia), Tunisian National Tourist Office (ONTT), in addition to representatives active in the field of olive oil," Chtourou said in statements to the local media.

She revealed that on the sidelines of the First China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo, Tunisia will sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the China-Africa Business Council.

"This MoU will facilitate cross-border business cooperation and contribute to the creation of a reliable and profitable commercial channel via the Internet," she said.

The event, to be held in Changsha, the capital city of Hunan, will be attended by more than 1,500 foreign guests, over 5,000 domestic guests, as well as more than 3,500 exhibitors, buyers and professional visitors.
