7.7-magnitude quake strikes off eastern Indonesia, no tsunami alert issued

JAKARTA, June 24 (Xinhua) -- A magnitude-7.7 earthquake struck off Maluku province of eastern Indonesia on Monday, but was not potential for tsunami, the meteorology and geophysics agency said.
