Afghan gov't forces recapture district in N. Afghanistan

MAIMANA, Afghanistan, June 25 (Xinhua) -- Afghanistan's government forces have recaptured Bilchiragh district in the northern Faryab province, forcing the Taliban militants to retreat from the restive area after two years of ruling, the provincial government said on Tuesday.
