KIEV, July 10 (Xinhua) -- A business delegation of four companies from northern China's Shanxi Province and the Bank of China wrapped up a four-day visit here on Wednesday after conducting extensive exchanges with Ukrainian representatives from the agricultural sector.
During the visit, the delegation visited agricultural farms in southern Ukraine's Odessa region and held several meetings with local agricultural representatives, including Ukrainian Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Elena Kovaleva.
The Chinese delegation spoke highly of the existing cooperation between the two countries and expressed the hope that Shanxi Province could further strengthen cooperation with Ukraine in the agricultural sector.
"Our visit has three goals: first of all, to study and understand Ukrainian food and agricultural policy; secondly, to find cooperation opportunities; thirdly, to promote mutual cooperation in this field," said China's Sunfood Corporation Chairman Wang Dongfeng, member of the delegation.
