TASHKENT, July 10 (Xinhua) -- Uzbekistan's Ministry of Justice announced on Wednesday a list of organizations and websites, as well as pages and channels on social networks, which are determined by the country's Supreme Court as being extremist and terrorist.
The list contains 40 websites, Facebook pages, YouTube and the Telegram channels in Uzbek language.
According to Uzbekistan's law on countering extremism, importing, manufacturing, storage, distribution and displaying materials recognized of being extremist are banned, the ministry warned.
The law prohibits their distribution and display through mass media or telecommunications networks, including the internet.
