ISLAMABAD, Aug. 18 (Xinhua) -- Pakistan on Sunday strongly condemned a heinous bomb attack targeting civilians during a marriage function in Afghanistan's capital Kabul Saturday night.

Afghan Interior Ministry's spokesman Nasrat Rahimi said at least 63 people were killed and over 180 others wounded in the suicide explosion at a wedding hall in western Kabul.

Pakistani Foreign Ministry described the attack as a "dastardly inhuman act."

"Pakistan condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestations. Terrorism is a common threat for the entire region and must be defeated together," a foreign ministry statement said.

"We express our heartfelt condolences to the families of innocent victims. We pray for the departed souls of the deceased and for early recovery of many others who were seriously injured in the attack," according to the statement.
