Knife attack in metro station near France's Lyon kills one, injures 9

PARIS, Aug. 31 (Xinhua) -- A knife attack took place Saturday afternoon at Laurent Bonnevay metro station in Villeurbanne, near French city of Lyon, killing at least one people, injuring nine others, BFMTV news television reported.

According to BFMTV, the killed was 19 years old.

Firefighters report says three of the injured are in serious condition.

The police have arrested a suspect.
