SKOPJE, Sept. 5 (Xinhua) -- The total revenue of North Macedonia's electronic communications market in 2018 was 281.2 million euros (310.2 million U.S. dollars), 0.34 percent more than in 2017, the Agency for Electronic Communications of North Macedonia announced here on Thursday.
According to the agency's annual report on the development of electronic communications market, last year there were nearly 1.97 million mobile phone subscribers in the country, 1.94 percent less than in 2017.
The number of broadband internet users increased by 7.99 percent year-on-year to 427,964. The number of those who use the internet through mobile networks increased by 6.46 percent.
In 2018, 405,167 North Macedonians subscribed to TV services, which was a 2.74 percent increase over the previous year's figure.
