KIEV, Sept. 12 (Xinhua) -- Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Thursday that Kiev planned to hold the Normandy Four leaders meeting in September.
Zelensky made the remarks after meeting with his Finnish counterpart Sauli Niinisto, saying the dates have yet to be determined.
Established in June 2014, the Normandy Four is a contact group for senior officials from Germany, Russia, Ukraine and France to resolve the conflict in eastern Ukraine that erupted in April 2014.
Zelensky earlier discussed the prospects of holding a leaders meeting when he met with German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Emmanuel Macron.
