CHINGOLA, Zambia Sept. 26 (Xinhua) -- Zambia's strengthened bilateral relations with China is a "blessing" as the African nation is poised to benefit from the Asian nation's economic development, a youth leader said.

Mungulube had attended a seminar in Beijing on rural empowerment and poverty reduction.

"Long term planning has been key for China, most lectures we have here are touching on that," he said.

On acquisition of skills, Mungulube said Zambian youths are eager to learn rural poverty reduction strategies in China.

He called on Zambia to strengthen cooperation with China in order to boost socio-economic development that will transform the southern African country.
