JAKARTA, Oct. 2 (Xinhua) -- Indonesian boxer Daud Cino Yordan, the holder of WBO Intercontinental light weight title of 61.2 kg, will fight against Michael Moekoena from South Africa next month in Indonesia.
The bout with a theme of IBA Super Lightweight World Title and WBO Oriental is slated to be held on November 17 in Malang of Indonesia's East Java province, said Urgyen Richen Sim, managing director of Mahkota Promotion, the promoter of the forthcoming bout.
The 32-year-old Indonesian said in Bali resort Island that he prepared for the upcoming bout well, which will give him the opportunity to rise his rank, media reported on Wednesday.
"I have been practicing in Bali and now the practice has moved to a special program," Daud said.
He said the special program comprises a practice to boost endurance in the morning and another exercise to boost skills in the afternoon.
Daud had faced South African boxers twice before, including a victory over Sipho Taliwe in December 2013, and a defeat to Simpiwe Vetyeke in April 2013.
Daud has a record of 39 wins (27 of which with knockout) and 4 loses as his last fight was on August 4 in Thailand, during the time he beat Thai opponent Aekkawee Kaewmanee with a knock out blow.
