KINSHASA, Oct. 11 (Xinhua) -- A cargo plane with eight people aboard has gone missing in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), local media reported Friday quoting the country's Civil Aviation Authority.
The plane, which was providing logistical assistance for DR Congo President Felix Tshisekedi, lost contact with air traffic controllers 59 minutes after taking off from the eastern city of Goma on Thursday, the authority said in a statement.
