QALAT, Afghanistan, Oct. 15 (Xinhua) -- At least 13 militants have been killed in Shahjoy district of the southern Zabul province, said an army press release on Tuesday.
According to the press release, four more militants have been wounded during the operation launched in parts of the troubled Shahjoy district on Monday.
The operation would continue until the area is cleared of insurgents, the press release further said.
The Taliban outfit has yet to comment on the announcement.
