WASHINGTON, Oct. 24 (Xinhua) -- US women's national soccer team star Alex Morgan and husband Servando Carrasco are expecting their first child, local media reported on Thursday.
With the due date being April 2020, the 30-year-old Morgan will likely miss at least part of the next season for the Orlando Pride in the National Women's Soccer League. Her part with Orlando this season was also cut short by a knee injury.
Morgan won the Women's World Cup title with the US team this summer in France. Carrasco now plays as a midfielder for the LA Galaxy.
