Pompeo arrives in Morocco for one-day visit

RABAT, Dec. 5 (Xinhua) -- U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo arrived in the Moroccan capital Rabat on Thursday afternoon for a one-day visit.

Pompeo will meet with Moroccan government officials to review the two countries' strong economic and security partnership, he said in an earlier statement on Sunday.

He will also discuss future U.S.-Moroccan cooperation within the framework of the U.S.-Morocco Strategic Dialogue, the statement added.
