LOS ANGELES, Dec. 11 (Xinhua) -- U.S. actor, comedian and producer Kevin Hart received one of the entertainment industry's oldest accolades on Tuesday with his handprints and footprints in cement at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.

"You don't get here by yourself," Hart said at the ceremony. "It's through friendship, partnership, admiration, and respect. I'll be damned if I don't have all of those things."

Hart was introduced by his friends Will Ferrell and Dwayne Johnson to the stage. Surrounded by friends, family members, colleagues and co-stars, Hart put his hands and feet into wet cement and signed on it.

"If you have the ability to make someone laugh, it's really the biggest blessing of all. And Kevin is that guy, as advertised," said Johnson, also an actor.

Co-starred with Johnson, Hart's latest movie "Jumanji: The Next Level" will be on big screen on Dec. 13. In 2017, Hart starred in the previous Jumanji movie "Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle," which marked his highest-grossing movie to date.

"He has this comedian quality, and he is very talented," Mike Radizza, a long-time fan of Hart, told Xinhua, adding he was looking forward to the new movie.

Hart was born and raised in Philadelphia, U.S. state of Pennsylvania, where he launched his career as a comedian. Over the years, Hart has become Hollywood's box office powerhouse. His previous credits include "Central Intelligence," "The Secret Life of Pets," and "Ride Along" series. In 2015, Time Magazine named Hart one of the 100 most influential people in the world on the annual Time 100 list.

The TCL Chinese Theatre is a movie palace on the historic Hollywood Walk of Fame. Nearly 200 Hollywood celebrity handprints, footprints and autographs are in the concrete of the theater's forecourt.
