BERLIN, Dec. 12 (Xinhua) -- Eintracht Frankfurt came from behind but lost all three points due to the late goals from Vitoria's Musrati and Marcus Edwards at the last round in Europa League's Group F on Thursday.

With the result in Group F, Arsenal finish atop the standings with 11 points followed by Frankfurt (9 points), Standard Liege (8 points) and Vitoria (5 points).

The visitors from Portugal caught a bright start on the road after they forced a turn over and opened the scoring through Rochinha, who curled the ball into the far post corner and out of reach of Frankfurt goalkeeper Frederik Ronnow with eight minutes into the game.

Vitoria should have doubled their lead moments later but Andre Pereira failed to finish off a fast break despite many options.

As the game clock ticked, Frankfurt grew into the clash as Goncalo Paciencia came close with a volley effort in the 24th minute before Danny da Costa nodded home the equalizer from 20 meters after Vitoria goalkeeper Miguel Silva misjudged the header in the 31st minute.

The "Eagles" gained momentum and turned the tides seven minutes later when Filip Kostic had all time and space on the left wing before finding Daichi Kamada, who poked home the cross at the second post.

After the restart, Frankfurt retracted with the narrow lead behind and handed over control allowing Vitoria to gain again a foothold into the match.

The visitors approached Frankfurt's goal dangerously in the 55th minute after Florent unleashed a long-range effort to rattle the woodwork from 30 meters.

Vitoria continued on the front foot whereas the hosts remained passive. Hence, they had to swallow the leveller from Musrati, who slipped but were still able to score as Frankfurt were unable to clear a corner from the area in the 85th minute.

Things went from bad to worse for Frankfurt two minutes later, as Pepe Rodrigues square pass allowed Marcus Edwards to wrap up the late 3-2 win.

Despite Vitoria's victory, Frankfurt can celebrate nonetheless as the German outfit progress into the next round after benefitting on the two-all draw in the other group game between Arsenal and Standard.
