6 die in car accident in northern Angola

CAXITO, Angola, Dec. 24 (Xinhua) -- At least 6 people have died and 12 are seriously injured as a result of an accident that occurred on Tuesday in Angola's northern Bengo province, the press office director of local police, chief inspector Paulo Miranda de Sousa, said on Tuesday.

The accident involved a truck coming from northern Uige province carrying passengers and goods, the police chief said.

Local government had expressed condolences to the bereaved families.
