DHAKA, Dec. 24 (Xinhua) -- The winter show of the apex body of Bangladesh's hundreds of realtors kicked off here on Tuesday to showcase flats, plots and other real estate and housing products.
Organized by the country's biggest real estate association Real Estate and Housing Association of Bangladesh (REHAB), the five-day REHAB Winter Fair 2019 exhibition was attended by a large number of realtors, their clients, property dealers and financial institutions.
Bangladeshi Housing and Public Works Minister SM Rezaul Karim inaugurated the fair at Dhaka's Bangabandhu International Conference Center (BICC), also known as Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Center.
Vice President (Finance) of REHAB and acting Chairman of the Fair Standing Committee Engineer Mohammad Sohail Rana said there are hundreds of companies in the fair this year with representatives from the building materials companies and banking and non-banking financial institutions.
He expressed his hope that the largest annual fair which has a total of 230 stalls this year, the highest since 2013, will help boost the country's real estate.
The REHAB has been arranging the fair in Dhaka since 2001 to offer products and services to the customers.
